By downloading, installing, or using JaapMitra ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

JaapMitra is an offline-first mantra chanting and mala counting companion. It is provided to support personal spiritual practice and is not affiliated with any religious organization or institution.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or modify the App except as permitted by applicable law.

Your Data

The App stores your mala counts, streaks, and settings locally on your device only. We do not collect or transmit this data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Voluntary Tip Jar & Payments

JaapMitra offers an optional, voluntary tip through Google Play Billing. In India, payment settlement for these transactions is facilitated by BillDesk, a payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not process or store your payment details directly. Tips are voluntary and do not unlock any additional features.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we take care to present devotional texts and content respectfully and accurately, we make no guarantee of completeness or freedom from error.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JaapMitra and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
