Zero Data Collection

JaapMitra was built with a core philosophy: your spiritual practice is personal and private. Therefore, JaapMitra does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Local Storage Only

All data generated within the app-including your mala counts, custom mala names, daily goals, streaks, and settings-is stored entirely locally on your device's internal storage using SQLite.

This data never leaves your device. It is never synced to a cloud server, never analyzed, and never sold.

No Tracking or Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics trackers, crash reporting tools, or advertising SDKs. The app is completely ad-free and tracking-free.

Permissions Required

• Vibration: Used solely for haptic feedback when counting beads.
• Notifications: Used solely for locally scheduled daily practice reminders. These do not require internet access.
• Billing: JaapMitra offers an optional, voluntary tip through Google Play Billing. In India, payment settlement for these transactions is facilitated by BillDesk, a payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not process or store your payment details directly.
